History

WP Taverm launched as an independent WordPress newsroom with a simple house rule: cover the ecosystem honestly, keep the door open, and never charge for the reading. The name is a nod to the original tavern tradition on the open web — a place to trade rumors, patches, and the occasional strong opinion.

Today the site publishes news, interviews, and the WP Taverm Jukebox podcast. Advertising stays out of the editorial well. If you want to write, ask the bartender, or just subscribe, there is a stool waiting.
