Contributor Credit Should Be Boring and Visible
Opinion: if the only people who know you contributed are the people in the Slack huddle, the project will keep looking like a closed room.

Credits screens, props lists, and profile badges are not vanity. They are how a global project tells the next volunteer that the door opens.
Make them accurate. Make them dull. Put them where a hiring manager can see them.
Mystery contribution is how you get mystery leadership.
