Jonah Hale started in a print studio, not a terminal. That history still shows up in how he talks about WordPress themes: editions, constraints, and the pleasure of a limited palette that still feels generous.

We cover his years in hosting support, the jump into product, and the unglamorous work of keeping a theme shop honest when the block editor changes under your feet. Jonah is blunt about the temptation to ship 40 starter sites. He’d rather ship six that a first-time builder can actually finish.
