Ecommerce Plugins Add Partial Refund Blocks
Store managers can refund a line without leaving the order screen for a gateway tab from 2018. The honest versions log it as a store note.

Partial refunds were a support ritual: screenshot, SKU, a prayer to Stripe. Putting a block on the order editor does not make money less serious. It makes the click match the policy.
If your refund block cannot name the gateway fee, it is a toy. Keep the old screen until it can.
