SEO Plugins Finally Start Reading Block Markup
Canonical titles and schema are less wrong when the plugin can see the actual blocks on the page. A few vendors got there. Most still parse the classic field.

SEO plugins that still treat the_content as a bag of HTML are guessing. The ones that walk the block tree can see a FAQ block, a product block, and a heading outline that matches what Googlebot gets.
That sounds obvious. It took years because the old analysis UI was built around a metabox and a keyword density toy.
If your schema still says Article when the page is a recipe, your plugin is not modern. It is nostalgic.
