WordCamp Asia is expanding a travel fund aimed at people who have not yet had a Make blog byline. The application asks what you want to work on, not how many camps you have already attended.
Recipients owe a public write-up. That is the deal. The community gets a trip report. The fund gets proof it did not buy a vacation.
Regional camps that copy this should budget for visas and for the week after the event, when the real contribution happens.
